There is one for sale locally. 28' http://seattle.craigslist.org/see/boa/2932898790.html
What in the consensus on them? Its bigger and more expensive then the one I was looking at, but I am in the market now.
Mainly does anyone know the hull thickness? or any other info?
Thanks
Josh

They are a no frills, solid fishing platform. I see a few guides running them up here in AK.

You're in big water country out there Josh, I'd go for something with scuppers and a heavier build if you can find it.

Thanks. I was worried about build quality. I have been spoiled with that EdWing, it's built like a brick s-house.
Re: Koffler Bay Bee's?
IMHO a Koffler is a better built boat than an Edwing. Koffler's are still being built they are a small family business that turn out nice boats. Ed of Edwing no longer builds sport boats and the weld quality of an Edwing leaves much to be desired.buck3 wrote:Thanks. I was worried about build quality. Give Joe at Koffler a call. They'll build what you want... They are a small "custom build" company. If you want a 1/4" self bailing deck they have and can certainly do that. They will take you out on some of their boats before you ever sit down to talk numbers/design. Many Kofflers in Alaska being worked hard on te commercial end. They built mine just the way I wanted it (tinking i wish i would of went for hydraulic steering though) Good luck!
