Well Marty all I can say is that was quite an adventure with some beautiful country. Man you must have lost 20 lbs in 4-5 days of hunting that terrain. I take it from the video you didn't harvest a bear? I know with weather and the challenge of spot and stalk with a bow it doesn't work out many a time but that's what keeps you going back right? If a surfer caught the perfect wave every time he went out do you think that he would still be interested in surfing? Thanks for sharing the video. Have you ever looked up Jim Shockey up here on "The Rock" Vancouver Island? We have one of the largest concentrations of Black Bears in North America. They are literally at an all time high in population right now! Here is a link to Jim's site. It is not uncommon to see 30 bears a day here on the island in peak season and the salmon bears are monsters!!! Jim likes to get his clients (even rifle clients) right up close till you can smell em.
