Sound proofing in hull

Hi everyone
Just looking for some advice on a 6.7m cat we are having built for which we discussed soundproofing the hull and which they have fitted an acoustic insulation for boat engine room onto the hull and we’re concerned that this can retain moisture as not closed cell within the sealed hulls as well as adding around 50kg of weight.
Your advice would be welcome as to new to aluminium
