Welder will like this........
Its as if the River is poisoned or something. DEAD. And I still have to make a LIVING!
R&D - light tackle. Can't keep anything. So make it fun.
(Florida regs suck beyond all thinking)

Well ALLOY.....I don't wear LONG pants like Welder when the suns a shining. Hmmm, I never wear long pants now I think about it.
If its cold, I'll throw on some slickers or as a real red neck. Long jon's with shorts over them.
Really still cold and nasty up yonder?
Hmmmm, you may need a cheap break, a weekend in Freak'ville. You're always invited on The Jettywolf.

Dave, it looks like a good reef to work over/around.
I would like to rig up a couple Stretch 25s and troll around that reef 50 to 200 yards out, that's where the predator fish hang out.
And don't forget, Circle hooks ARE required in FEDERAL WATERS in your area. Check your offshore regs. They changed Jan of '14.

I drive over 55 too.....I don't care. I'm a hooligan.
I'll use what catches them. Just like inshore, where they want to dictate the tackle i use, too.
I believe I gave them the best advantage ever, with the super light tackle I was using.
If you trolled around there, even in summer it would only be small Kingfish and Cuda's, if that.
If I can't keep a "single fish", unless Fillet & Release. I'll use a jig-n-shrimp again. On heavier tackle for the large snappers.
May Try it again soon, as I have 2- Daiwa Saltist 20HC and a few new kick-azz rods.
