As long as the winds honking at 20 knots from the N.E. and it's cold. The "mud hole" aka: as Mill Cove a long inland bay that reminds me of LOUISIANA...shallow, oyster reefs, great popping cork or float-rigging spot.
And a great place to hide, when windy.
11/29 - Colorado folk. (she never ever fished a day in her life!)
wind was HONKING
Moon was in full glory even at 7am:
Here 1st ever FISH....a 17" Trout:
Hubby Tom was just glad to play catch-up with small ones:
Now Margie is glouting...Hubby will catch up though:
He does the shallow water Flounder thing, 3 times in a row:
Then, we move and he catches some fatty Croakers:
Then, by noon we have a decent "stringer" of shallow water, hide from the wind fish.......
NEXT DAY......fishing with a 6 year old, Drew:
"Two fisted".... Little Redfish catcher
And 20 small Trout:
Then, his BIG 22 inch Keeper Redfish he was sooooo proud of:
IT'S NOT A WICKED TUNA, OR A PISSAH OF A LONG BOAT RIDE EITHER. JUST DOWN THE RIVER AND AROUND THE CORNER, AND THERE WE WERE. FISHING IN 2-3 FOOT EACH DAY JUS' BECAUSE I CAN.
