My yard is being trashed

Trashed by little rodents , lots of little rodents . So far it's Gophers 2 Grandpa 3and need to check the trap line again . My grand son was here yesterday and after feeding chickens and picking eggs we went a gopher killing and them gophers aint happy.
1st ya locate the varmints tunnels then lock and load the traps...
2nd ya need a willing kid to pull the sun hating critters out of the tunnel system with extreme prejudice.
3rd repete the process until all the gophers are gone.

My dad on the farm used to give me a 25 cent bounty on those buggers.......... That was until he found out I was also going onto neighboring farms. I over hunted our property.

You would Hunting all of Stanwood for enough of them. Or Just Kick in your share of the Gas/Bait and Ice Bill. Burning about 50 to 60 gallons a trip. Season is getting short. I still need to get Brandon and Russ from Coldwater Boats out.

I feel the pain Les. When I was young we used to go visit relatives in Saskatchewan every summer. I remember hopping in my uncles pimped out van (kinda like the A team lol). About six of us with .22's and about 5000 rounds of ammo. We would go from field to field killing thousands of those buggers . It was a good time to be a 10 year old .

I remember my uncle saying he liked taking them out by shooting them instead of gassing them out. They can sure bugger up a herd of cattle. Broken legs start getting expensive .
