I ride Boats and My Wife. No two wheeled motorcycles. That is how I got all hosed up.. My T Shirt at the time read
It Don't Hurt Till the Bone Shows. It had an xray on it of a lower leg with plates and screw.
I broke the original set of 1/8th" SS plates. The Doc installed 1/4'" plates next.

Kinda looked like mine.

I wore that t shirt till it disintegrated. I also got the same for the Ortho Surgeon and his PA.
Not mine but I have a Xray Similar to this one

I have a picture like the plate and screws but it's my brothers leg after his motorcycle accident last June. I also have the pre fixed X-rays and crooked leg pic.

I got lucky. The doctor took the plate and screws out of my arm 14 months after putting them in because it was a bad spot to have them. I do still feel where the screws were before, and the scar is forever there and a reminder. Just makes me look TOUGHER!!
No, I am not uncoordinated, my patient was just stronger and faster than me.... Hazards of the job!!!!

Yea, and some of us have screws to put our bone structure back together... :rotfl:

Mine was due to a flooded divided four lane highway at night in a "Frog strangler" while towing my "Hotel on wheels". (The rig scales out around 23,000-24,000 depending on how loaded the camper is) Thank goodness I had slowed WAY down before I hit it. Managed not to wreck/jackknife the truck and camper, but sure WRECKED my wrist and forearm in the process......
