Nice work Terry. Almost time for the Springers. I will be down in Portland next Thursday for the Sportsman Show with Ken aka Flasher of QCove to see if it will work for him

Reel sweet rig and great job! I am about to venture into my own boat building. I am looking to build something in the 18-20ft range with a v bow. I have a 24'x72" flat bottom plate boat for commercial fishing and would like another boat with a v bow for comm fishing during rough water days. I am ready to start and have the Pollard book however I have yet to pull the trigger on the Python gun due to being unsure on laying out the V on the bottom/front of the boat. How would you have built the V in this boat if you would have went that way? thanks and I appreciate your fine work and skills. Netman

Reelsong - I really like your "fish" symbol design on the bow. Lookes nice and has good meaning.

Thanks Fisherman, , Netman, you can buy a pattern or there's some great softwear out there, look on spectrum boats, or give Chris with CTMD a shout.

Reel without hacking your thread up I would like to get a pattern and take to a Louisiana shop and have them to cut the patterns out so I could return home to Indiana and start welding. Alum and cutters are a dime a dozen in La.

Gotcha, I can give Jim a call, the guy who cut my bottom plate or give him a call yourself, at RBboats, he might just sell you a paper pattern.

I know most of you like to keep aluminum unpainted but I had enough material left from the big build so I painted the sled today. Hope you like it, maybe next time sand blast and acid wash.

That sucks that there is no Lifting Eyes bolted to the engine. Check with Lloyd to see if there is a special lift strap required,

Yea, I'll call Lloyd in the AM. No lifting eye's like my old yammies

I really like that setup for ANY kind of fishing! Look at all that ROOM! Geezie wheezies, that is a fishing guide's dream boat for inland applications I would think...and I wouldn't be averse to inshore/nearshore when conditions were suitable.
