Seattle Boat Show

#1

Post by Shark Bait »

It dawned on me as I was reading a post in another section that there are a number of us AABers who will be attending the Seattle Boat Show at the end of January and how great it would be if we could get together.

Since I don't live in Seattle and don't know any of the Seattle area AABers I was wondering if it would be possible for Coldwater, Chaps, Goatram, Seafood Man or one of the other AABers in the Seattle area to arrange an informal get together one evening so we could meet, talk Alloy Boats and toss down a few?

Anyone in the PNW up for this challenge?

Seattle Boat Show & AAB

#3

Post by Seefood Man »

As Shark Bait mentioned it would be nice to hook up with some local AAB'rs
The Seattle Boat Show starts 1/29 through 2/6 Here is the link:
http://www.seattleboatshow.com/
Lets throw around some dates and times. What distance do you guys live from Quest Field? I am about 1.5 hours South. Depending on your guy's work schedule, it might be good to try mid-week. I am pretty flexible, just thinking of the crowds and traffic.

Good idea. Received your message on the other thread. When you work out the details with the other members we will be there. In addition, this may be a good time to toss in a few goodies. I will provide 1 day entry tickets at will call for the first 20 AAB members to send me a PM. (Please attach your name to be listed at will call and specify will call at "on the water" or at "qwest field")

c'mon Les, get a cheap flight and get your butt up here. While you're in the area you could go around on a builders tour and drum up some more sponsor biz . . . :highfive:

Hey Les, any chance we could get the two Seattle boat show threads mashed together somehow and maybe sticky it somewhere?

It looks like there is some interest in the Seattle show and that a number of us AABers will be attending but I am still wondering who in Seattle (close to the action) is willing to set up Meet & Greet?

Someone down there should be able to find a place for us to meet and toss down a few.

WHO WILL IT BE?????

1. Pete was talking about the weekday time frame.
2. I am thinking of showing up on Sunday the 31st and passably the 7th.
3.On Saturday the 30th I will be at the sportsman show in Puyallup.
4.Chaps talked about buying the first round.
5. Your here for the entire show?
6. Your free/available time is?

Seattle is the city that I tend to stay out of do to me being a country boy at heart. I live about 50 miles north in Stanwood, 8 miles west of I-5.

SB; breakfast in the morning or drinks after the show? there are a couple of restaurants and bars in the area but I can not be responsible to pick a good one out of the mix. If you know what I mean

Snoot; ya have any Ideas? being a city boy from Seattle and all.
