SeaDek, is a unique kinda soft material. That's really tough and resilient. It's a bit cousiony. I once used it as a replacement for a upolstered cousion on a leaning post on my old boat. It worked real well....the "sticky backed" SeaDek is really sticky. And on my leaning post went around a bend and stayed there! And the Seadek was at least an inch thick.
