Great Day Fishing..Decent Day Catching

Ed Bramer, Ed Jr, and Bob from CT joined me today on a day long charter to the bank. I decided to fish for cod in the morning and then go haddock fishing. First stops found nice markets to 20 lbs and the guys, being very experience fisherman, filled their limits within 2 hours.

Off to the haddock grounds and found a fleet of over 100 boats. Unfortunately, the haddock decided to take the day off and even though we marked them they offered little in the ways of a bite. The dozen or so we did land were still full of roe so I have a feeling the screaming tide we had today had a detrimental effect.

The guys ended up with over 120lbs of cod fillet and 10 of haddock so not a bad day after all.
