2008 28' Motion Marine $250k
I came across this interesting boat the other day. It's a 2008 Motion Marine, 28' offshore, with 30 hours and 900HP.

Now there is a boat that is NOT underpowered!!!
The video shows the boat speeding across dead calm water...as most mfr videos do.
Useless. All boats ride the same when there is barely a ripple on the
water. Let's see some real world conditions on these videos.

That is an awful looking boat, and priced at least 100k too high for what it is IMO.
These outfits that do such a great job on their whitewater boats just don't get the offshore/big boat concept.

That thing just does not look right . Looks bow heavy or something .
Is it supposed to be a 28' river boat ?

I'm definitely not a fan of the boat. If they lost the diamond plate, took off an engine, and maybe used some drawing tools other than a ruler during the design process, it would be a bit more appealing. I've talked to people that have had work done at MM and they've all been happy with the service and quality of the work and they seem to have a loyal following.
I wonder how well the .160 5052 handles the torque created from the 900hp hanging off the back. It will also be interesting to see how that thin gauge aluminum will hold up to the pounding you'll be able to give it offshore or on the bar with that kind of power.

I have to agree with a lot of people, the boat is ugly. The full glass windows gets me worried I would feel like I'm in a glass tank, and everyone is looking in at you.

Well for those of you that think the 28 footer is ugly maybe this 40' is more up your alley.

My momma said......."don't you buy no ugly boat!!!!"
So I gave up the idea of a ACB, and Motion Marine.
At ONLY $250K, that BIOTCH better come with at least two naked blonde "shaved", Norweigian 20 year old girls. To keep peoples eyes off that HULL!
Now your boat is a different story........the "big whitey", sure is pretty!!!!!!

Jetty,
I think you should send that comment to them.
