Boat & Motor Year by Serial Numbers???

Hey Crew!
I have a question. I'm Looking at a used boat and motor. (Aluminum, the skiff has got to go!) I have the serial and model numbers, how do I get the years?? Where would I look for a value of this rig?? Really don't want to go to a dealer.

Can you get the paper work on the Boat , Motor and Trailer ?

The motor is a 90hp Merc O/B #09875943 The boat is a Smoker Craft, Hull # SMK79626K091 and there is one other number on the hull 210316 not sure why there are two numbers on the boat?

When ya get rid of that dern skiff boat and "if" ya get that boat a great name would be;

"SMOKER'S ONLY" or in the deep south it maybe..."SMOKA'S ONLY".

Cool name fo sho! I'll have to start smoking again!! Might have a year on the motor, I think it's a 96. The Guy wants $6500 boat motor and trailer and might be interested in the skiff on trade!! We'll see. Might be a new little sister for Izona in the near future??

Hey Crew.
Well, I sure appreciate all the help but this rig is off the list. Going to keep looking for a small hard top. Thought this might save a little money but I'd just end up trading it in the spring. No maintenance records at all, and it would not start when we put it in the river. "I'll knock off 50 bucks right now if you take her as is" said the owner!! Too many red flags for this old trucker!!

Well, that is a good question! I'm looking for something with a hardtop. It cannot be over 18' long. Cannot have over 100 hp. Cannot be over 84" wide!! I belong to a boating association that has inside storage and am allowed one stall. With Izona and my 4 door duel-wheel pickup in the shop, I would like to keep this "extra" boat in the boathouse!! The shop is full! Not sure I can afford another custom built boat right now$$$$$$$$$$$$ I had a jon-boat with a cab and sold it when we built Izona!! Wish I would have kept it now!! I'll try and attach a picture of it!! Neat little boat for one or two Folks!!
