Someone else may know of a chemical for that purpose.

Re: Barnicales
clambo,
Zep-a-Lume seems to be the strongest aluminum cleaner? Not sure about stain removal but using it a couple of times on warm aluminum mixed/diluted w warm water sure does seem to clean it up.
I agree with G&R that a ROS, using a 100-120 grit pad will clean up the surface of most stains but removing the surface film where most stains reside. Leaves a kind of 'steel wool' appearing finish - but uniform not spotted or splotchy.
Another idea of an even finer grit is to use Bartenders' Helper (fine grit) on a 3M Scotchbrite (tm) pad on the ROS sander pad. That will leave a less scratched appearance and will lift stains- probably more work than just spraying on a solution lift stains.
Also, an extreme case, but not bad practice is soda or sand blasting will clean to bare metal in no time... lots of work, expensive to set and clean up; but assured to clean aluminum.
