Seajet Antifouling for Aluminum Boats

#1

Post by IronwoodIsland »

Has anyone experience with Seajet's products for aluminum antifouling?  They have copper free paints 034 Emperor and 027 Saiko.  I believe that some of their paints are Silicone based super slippery paint.

Looking for an alternative to Trilux since International has stopped shipping it to Canada (leaving us few alternatives beside dipping our Al boats in enough epoxy to make plastic boats and then using copper paint ...)

Wish that Canada simply harmonized paint regulations with the USA since our market is too small to support country specific paint brands.

Seajet's silicone based paint is called Bioclean Eco - See article testing antifouling paints in Practical Boat Owner: Antifouling Paint Trials
