Will I need power steering assist?

#1

Post by Trousertrout »

I'm having a 30 duckworth built with twin mercury 350's and 25hp kicker. The verados come with electro hydraulic steering (whatever this means). I guess there are pumps built into each motor. Anyone running this setup to steer me in the right direction? I don't want to be the guy making 30 revolutions to avoid a log.
Thanks

They have good steering just make sure you have enough batteries to keep up with them.

Ok, I think they are giving me (2) group 31's per engine. Thanks
