We had some guests staying with us 2 weeks ago and surprised us with a U Tube video this morning of their trip to fish sockeye. We usually don't do large groups as we only offer one cabin for four people. But as there trip planning progressed the trip grew larger and we agreed to the large group in part because part there trip revolved around using the USFS cabins in the Karta. The guests we have here are the adventurous types that enjoy doing things themselves. Our season starts with Steelhead in April, and then spring Bear, Sockeye, salt water Kings and Coho, millions of Pinks and Chums, fall Coho with a few Halibut thrown in, and Sitka Blacktail. Then we have a few groups that come for the Totem Raising (these are not the cruise ship shows) and just general adventures. You can see our 28 alumaweld working the subsistence net in the video.

That's us, guess we need to figure out how to do this right. Well were off to feed 5doz herring to the silvers this morning. They have been jumping all around the boat in the Klawock Harbor, but what fun is that, if you have a boat you need to go burn some fuel.
