Re: Custom 21' Wooldridge offshore center console
Great looking boat! I saw yours being built many times as I was having my Pilothouse built. I saw how they customized a lot of things for you. Your boat truly is a one of a kind as goes for all the ones they built out there. Every boat they build has something different built to satisfy his/her own needs. I like the sleeping area they put up in the bow of your boat as well. My boat by the way is the one on this page above the photo with your radar mount showing...(you can see the pilothouse the has Mitsy-Lou on it.) Anyways, I wanted to say your boat looks awesome. I guess I will have to post the build out of mine as well. Thanks again for posting...I never get tired of these...

Re: Custom 21' Wooldridge offshore center console
Interesting.....a "center'ish console/cabin".
Would like to see pics of further away of overall console figuration, and rear deck space.
Looks very fishy. And I'm sure will meet slime and blood soon.

Is that a Yamaha Kicker? Nice boat! Do I see Starboard hatch covers on the aft section under the bait station?

I will answer since I made them and the table yes it is seaboard and the hatches were custom made for this boat. This boat also sports my sliding rail system if you look close at the hand rails you can see the dovetail rail and a couple billet rod holders mounts.pjay9 wrote:Is that a Yamaha Kicker? Nice boat! Thank you agian and good job!

Here is a good Picture of Miller Marine's Table and two lids for the transom fish box / sink along with one of the three Miller Marine rails welded along the front of the sink area.

Is that just bottom paint or is it the .440 with the coating stuff? A flat good looking vessel is that, congratulations to you Super and to WB for bringing her to life.
I only do what the voices in the Tackle Box tell me to.

Sorry for the slow response as we have been busy with all the shows lately. Yes, that is bottom paint. Glendawgaholic wrote:Is that just bottom paint or is it the .440 with the coating stuff? A flat good looking vessel is that, congratulations to you Super and to WB for bringing her to life.

Re: Custom 21' Wooldridge offshore center console
It's been a while. Kind of pre-occupied with a bunch of these lately.
Welder- the console is 42" wide and has more than enough room to fit two people side by side with generous weather protection. I forget the exact measurement but there is plenty enough room to walk around the console without having to twist sideways, which was the initial idea behind the whole layout. Lotta boats out there claim walk around but are more like work around. Grant, if you have a sec could you grab that walkway measurement? I wanna say 18"+...
The boat is staying busy on display between sportsman shows and fishing seminars. Grant and family have been extremely accommodating by saving us a bunch on storage in return for some advertising opportunities. I just saw the boat in 2 ads in the latest NW Sportsman Magazine! Good blackmouth reports have been making me wish I was out there trolling but I can't seem to leave the steelhead alone
May 1st is official beatdown time
Here are some recent pics of 'Yolo' staying warm and cozy in the Wooldridge showroom.

There's 18" Between the side tray and the console and 20.5" between the gunnel and the console.
Don's wiring job. It got lots of compliments at the show.
Front storage area.
Port a potti inside console.
Thanks, Glen

Glen What bottom paint was used? Great layout and awesome looking boat.
Re: Custom 21' Wooldridge offshore center console
I took a trip over to the showroom yesterday specifically to see this boat. It’s even better and bigger in person. That raised deck is very solid but not too high and you can plug up the scuppers if fishing with a lot of weight in the back. What impressed me as much as anything (as I was impressed by everything) was the wiring. Love the thought that went into the details - you’ll live those folding cleats when fly fishing.
This boat has all the trimmings but there’s 2 things I’d add/change. With the higher floor, anyone fishing from the bow is going to feel a bit exposed. In a rocking boat, 6” more rail height would really be “handy”. I’d also add an anchor roller to the bow. It’s great to have the TR-1 but there’s going to be times when it will be great to simply anchor up to cast over fish (e.g. Camano head 6 months from now).

Re: Custom 21' Wooldridge offshore center console
icondonj- Thanks for the compliments, glad you liked the boat! 2 reasons for that bow rail height- 1. we are short 2. It allows you to comfortably keep rod tips low to the water when chasing cutts inshore, which we will be doing more of from that area than anything else (I need solid gunnels for rolling seas anyway). We still haven't figured out what kind of anchor system we want on the boat. Some kind of roller for sure. I really like Mike's anchor locker. Maybe a windlass... There's a few other things we left "blank" on the boat but that is the beauty of living only 30 minutes away from our manufacturer! We can see how she fishes then make necessary additions/adjustments along the way.
Does anybody have a windlass and wish they never bought it?
