Launching Story WT_!!!!!!

Post by AlloyToy »

OK, have a small backwater skiff (Maritime Skiff to be exact) and no it's not alloy!!!

Here's the deal, myself and the boys are getting ready to launch at the top of the salt pond in Pt. Judith RI. Figured we'd take a shot at any schoolies hangin-n-bangin in the salt pond....... ZIPOLA!!

While preparing to launch up walks a group of freakin Jehovah's (No offense) and they start pounding me with all this religious BS at the boat ramp. Now my boys are 10 & 7 and have zero patience. They freakin follow me around the boat while I'm un-doing straps reading me crap out of their bible......

This drove me NUTS!!!

Now I told them I'm born & raised Catholic and that I'm content. They continue until they get me to my boiling point!!!! WTF!!! has this world come to!!! Them harassing people at the boat launch?? THAT"S WHAT WE NEED!!! More delays at the boat ramp........

Them: " Do you know if you are going to heaven"?

Me: "Lady I'll be in heaven as soon as I launch my skiff"!!!

God Help ME!!! :D

"Lady I'll be in heaven as soon as I launch my skiff"!!!

Now that's a good come back!
Luckily for me, the last time I had to deal with them was at the airport
...and there you can just ignore them and just keep walking.

Ever see the clip of the atheists knocking on doors in Salt Lake City?

I have absolutely no religious agenda but that was some funny, funny stuff.

The Mormons answering the doors wanted absolutely no part, whatsoever, of discussing a different view of religion. Couldn't have been more ironic...

(Alloy apologies to any LDS members who may or may not be offended.)

That's some funny stuff.

Do some business with companies in SLC. Many of the individuals are Mormon (again no offense). They are the driest individuals I've ever delt with. Very polite, but very dry.

Funny story, had one of them visit. Went out for dinner one night. Figured I'd visit one of the fine establishments with him.......he wanted no part. Instead he wanted to go to Six Flags to ride roller coasters :D

Needless to say we never made it........trying to picture how he and I would look sitting next to each other on the "Superman" :D

With my luck I'd end up on the front page of the evening news....

Alloy, right there with ya brother.....born and breed Catholic, who could care even less.

Too bad they didn't end up in the water, because that's where they belonged when keeping a man from his kids and fishin'.

That was just too good of a story.

The ultimate boat ramp folly.

Heads up!! Next is PETA so get ready

Next time this $hit happens I'm gonna pick my nose and see if I can make them feel uncomfortable :D Or have them pose for a pic next to my boat :D I think it's one of those religions where you have to give up everything when you join.............

Isn't it great to be able to go to heaven without dying?

There is no place I would rather be that out on the water!!!!!!!!
