-really?
Can the engines "breath properly" with covers on them?
http://youtu.be/bQdW1QXYlJE
we had that member Shinanigan with a quintrex cc, over on some tropical island that always had his cover on a Suzuki.
Notice these in the video are also suzi-zuki's.
Are we Americans missing something? Or am I flying solo, because I never see anyone with a cloth cover on their cowling around here.
I don't believe that's the intention for them.

"These covers that are designed to "stay on the motor" while on & off the water, they cover the cowling section of the motor"
The spash cover will help to keep your engine cowl in "as new condition."
Splash Covers provide protection from the elements such as:
Fishing lures & sinkers
* Diving Belts
* Sticks & Branches
* Reduces Noise by up to 10%
Not my thing.....I love to hear the motor work hard makes me feel like I'm getting my monies worth after a hard day of fishing and paying $4.87 at the marina

Re: cloth engine covers????
Where did ya find that Alloy????/
My Honda is a whopping 6 years old and looks like SHET!
Their paint jobs suck. Theres parts of my cowling that are paintless. So....if I had one of these "Engine Diapers" on all the time, I guess my 18K investment would look better???
B-U-T why? Why do we need a diaper, how about a better paint job. ( I notice suzi-suki folk are the ones using them) Maybe it's a thang amongst zuki owners?
I never got the bulletin

Capt. Dave, my guess is something to do with the heat and discoloration down yonder
Or maybe the noise

See, there's a new thing to suck $$ outa yer pocket each day.
wow....I want a engine diaper like this one!
Really? Could it be the PO-lice???? Really? Are ya sure??
Hmmmm, yeah I have a storage cover especially for those hot humid muggy summer nights when the B-U-G-S are so thick under my garage boat port lights have them all crawlin' in my O/B.
SABS,
yeah it's a heat, sun, and southern thang. Don't know if the sun shines long enough up yer way to warrent.
Honda should "give" each customer with shetty paint jobs after 6 years one of these as a parting gift.
