Pete, if I hang around long enough that boat may become so affordable I could have two of them.

I'd hang tough. My dad always tell me "ya can give a chicken away cheap, or a goat, but never the FARM". That's why I'm not the cheapest fishing guide in the area. But still at it, going on my 16th year in a row.

how's the bizness up yonder been?

Thanks Dave!
The first part of this year has been tough. Had to have surgery on my left foot. Getting better, but it's been a bear to get around. Just tired of hurting :hammer: .
On the other side, the Columbia is above flood stage. Fish can be caught, but I just can't justify in bring clients out for just a fish or two, even at that. Yes, I really need the work, but I won't to that to people.

This winter has not helped either. Yesterday was our first day at 80 degrees and it's going back down to the 60s come Monday. We have been very seriously considering moving to Fl. Even though the summer is a rough one with the humidity, I think it easier to bear then the six to eight months of rain we have had. Even the "native" folks here are getting cranky.

Hope things have been good for you?
Yak at you later

I HAVE A DECENT HOUSE DETACHED 2 CAR GARAGE ON PRIVATE STREET, AND IT COMES WITH A BOAT PORT FOR YOUR 26 PACIFIC. VERY NEAR BEACH LIVING WITHOUT PAYING BEACH PRICES.

AND YA DON'T NEED TO SPEAK SPANISH HERE......JUST REDNECK AND EBONICS. SO BRUSH UP ON IT.

Well guys it's SOLD! Deal closed on the 10th and now it is up in Sitka Ak. A nice couple, originally from Georgia, bought it.
The drive way looks barren now :banghead:

Well had to what I had to do.
I'm thinking, very seriously, about moving to the Keys. Thinking Islamorada.

I believe ya said you were originally from NY?

Then, you'd fit right on in Pete! :rotfl: :rotfl:

Talk about "expensive"....I believe card board boxes are going for $200,000 if anywhere near water. Even mud puddles.

No boat, so now what ya gonna do. Heck there's always "disabilility". I'd like to try myself, I have the "disability" to make any money here in freak-ville, florida :rotfl: :rotfl:
