3/26-27

Been busy. It's "spring". And in a week or two will be like full blown summer. it's already been 89 degrees here at times.

The REDFISH....aka: Redbass, if yer a Jax. Cracka'.

Not a single one of these are keeper Redfish. (so I don't have to clean them...a good thang.)
18-27" PINCHED TAIL measurement, is a keeper fish. All are over 27".

Jus' a catch, picture, and toss back fishery for me. With a few Sheepshead and a box of prime eating "whiting" tossed in.

BRIAN, EVEN CAUGHT A ROD AND REEL OFF THE BOTTOM. A RED GARCIA REEL AND A DECENT ROD.

BATTLE ALONG THE BIG ROCKS....

THREE GUYS FROM CONN. AND I HAD A GREAT DAY!

THEN INDIANA AND CHICAGO IL. GUYS....on a overcast cool morning day along the BIG rocks.

SOMEONE WAS IN MY SPOT, SO I HAD TO CAST BACK TO GET INTO THE FISH. EVERYONE IS A HANDICAPPED FISHERMAN. USING THOSE 'USELESS' SPINNER TACKLE BACK AT HOME. I USE NO SPINNERS, HATE THEM AND FIND THEM USELESS AS A "fighting lady yellow" F'GLASS BOAT.

WE COULDN'T KEEP A SINGLE REDBASS, ALL TOO BIG. SO AFTERWARDS WE FISHED FOR THE GREAT TASTING WHITING, AND CAUGHT 20 FOR A LATER FISH FRY.

NEXT UP.....MORE SPRING BREAK FOLK VISITING FROM WHERE IT'S STILL 38 DEGREES.

ALLOY......

They are premier and a commercially highly sought after fish.

As good as Seabass!! Just don't get as large around here. My largest ever is 21" and that was a beach "silver" version. which are larger than the brown ones we caught.

They provide a hell of a fish fry!!
