Jax Trout re-opening March 1:

Post by JETTYWOLF »

Trout are closed all of Feb. and the bite was so off in the cold during January anyhow. So now it's March and windy as all hell and me and buddy Doc Miller had to go hit it in the Small Craft Advisory conditions anyhow.

We had a blast aboard his 22' bayboat. And I got hung up on the funny nameof the color of my soft plastic bait I was using.
It's funny......watch it:

This is actually less than a 1/4 mile from the boat ramp where we put in. At $3.38 on the street and $4.10 a gallon at the marina. It's a good day to burn maybe a few spoon fulls of fuel and catch lots of dinner.

This is how we swing in J-ville, FLA!
