Weather was great in Venice La this past weekend. Got to go with Lester & a buddy attempting to land some big YFT. No luck on the YFT but we sure had a great time!

10 degrees below zero is what the thermometer in the car read this morning as I drove to work. I can't take it anymore, I quit!

It has been into the mid 30's for the past week and we are gaining close to 6 minutes of daylight each day. We will be heading for Kauai for the middle 2 weeks in March, then come back to splash the new boat. Shrimping starts April 15th. MMMMMM!
Spending my kids inheritance with them, one adventure at a time.

Okay, then if ya'll are so Cabin Fever'ed.....why this forum been so dead?
    Let's see some pictures of moutains or snow storms at least!

Nuke that photo is insane! I'd never let my boat look like that.

I remember when I was in USAF as a Security Police Law Enforcement jerk, stuck on Grand Forks AFB, North Dakota.
When It looked like that out the window, it was enevitable...I was going on A LOT OF DOMESTIC BATTERY calls!

The cabin fever was un-real and people just beat the hell out of one another, when they were essentially SNOWED IN.

Not to mention ever intersection had a traffic accident, during a white-out.

Yep it was cold here yesterday night....was 34 degrees, then popped right back to 70 in the afternoon.

Gas went up .30 cents since the last time I took the boat to the station.

Election years really suck, for luxury service related business', they cause un-rest in the economy.

Florida's the only state to have the lowest reported Influenza out breaks.

Speckled Trout season reopens March 1st....but the tide sucks.

It's tax time, and I have no $$.

But, I have two new rods to try out, and two more on there way. (I have $$ for that!)

My Azalea bushes are in bloom...big pink flowers.

Other than that.......all sunny here, and the Lizards are out warmin' up

Inside work outside play

Welder I work inside - professor of Electronics and computer technology 32 years. You think I would be able to figure out how to post a picture, someday I'll take the time to figure it out. On the side I have designed and built a few houses doing most everything myself, including design, cutting the trees, framing, wiring, roofing, plaaster, hardwood and tile floors, oak stairway, some hand made kitchen cabinets, but still can't bring myself to drill a whole in my boat. Just came in from clearing 10" of snow today this is really getting old.

This the view of the Pier at Holland State Park in Holland Mi. You can not see the pier because it is buried under ICE! What a nasty time of year. I need 6 weeks of vacation to get my mojo back. The open water is there somewhere I am just not sure where it is. :(http://spyglasshill.com/Webcam/Default.htm
lo and behold I'll never get old, just slowly fade away!

Capeannfisherman,

Looks like when ya learn how....give a class to jimjack1.

Dang its soooooo EZ, too. Just remember ANY AND ALL photos have to be "hosted" somewhere on the www. If so, it's as 1.2.3. when ya right click, and "copy" the photo's properties....then come here and hit the IMG code button up in those squares, then "paste" properties, then hit the IMG code buttom again.

UNLESS...your attempting to do that with photo off the BlackLab Marine web site, or the Pacific boats web site, and it just doesn't work. They have wacky web sites! Then you'll have to right click-save photo to your computer, then up load to photobucket, or any other "hosting" web site then reepeat the steps above.

I can do it in about 22 seconds, either way. But that's why I be a Moderator at large. Because I'm fast at useless B.S.

So ya all didn't like the pic of my flowering bushes and friendly yard lizards out sunny themselves on my screens?

Well ya'll will get your chance. Because I'm sure the Tuna fish pictures will be all over the place soon enough. Not that I won't be fishing too....and only going maybe 3 miles from the dock versus 30.

See...so it all equals out in the end.

BTW, I'm in for more snow & ice photos. Click away, because it looks like not much else is going on here.

So Marty, you've been absent because you were out catching WHOPPERS?

I just posted the original post, because things went a bit dead here for a week or so.

Whopper time is just around the corner for ya'll, so we expect to see MORE, fish pix.
