thru hull

Post by v26wa »

I dropped the boat off to the fabricator this week. He is very reputable & I have been very happy with his work in the past. He suggests having a thru hull instead of a transom mounted water pick up for the livewell ? What do you guys think ? He says that he is not aware of a manufacturer making the fittings in 5086 & may make his own ? Do you guys know of someone making these parts in aluminum ? I have to make a decision tomm. & would appriciate all your help / advice on this. Thanks !!
