In my signature I just use the tags like posting a picture, like this

"[img],http://coastalbuilders.com/kingfisher/alloyboatsig.jpg,[/img]"

Note I put comas in the above code after the img tag and before the /img tag so the code would display instead of the picture - remove them from your code. You have to have the picture stored on some web space like Photobucket or some of your own.

An avatar is just a small picture you can upload in the "Profile" area to display with your board name on the left side of each post - like me and my striper to the left.

"over there" they had the "albums", here just use a photo uploader like Photobucket or something.
