I have a 2003 that was built in December 2002. It has a plastic tank.

Thanks,
I am looking and based on the issues I have read about the plastic tanks I would like to avoid getting a boat with them if possible.

Re: Pacific boats, plastic fuel tank years?
i had an unfortunate experience with the plastic tank under the deck of my first hull (it WAS a 2001)...i encourage anyone who has the older pacifics with poly tanks to diligently open the access covers periodically to vent the fumes, and never, ever, ever, ever go anywhere near that void with a live wire or a welder
ever...
it did have a happy ending however, as pacific boats stood behind their vessel 100%. in fact i was shocked by what they did for me

Re: Pacific boats, plastic fuel tank years?
I have an 01 and check the access port every time I use it but not because I think the tank leaks, I just have OCD when it come to water in the bilge. I have never noticed fumes in the bilge, actually thought the tank vent and bilge vent was simple and very functional. I also have noticed the tank is very secure and does not move at all. Guess my question is, is there something I should check out?
I am not surprised to hear Pacific stood by their boat, they have been very help full every time I called for help on my project.
