Here is an overview map that I will try to keep updating as I get them with each GPS location. This will hopefully be easier to view.

Well no updates, guessing the SPOT GPS died or was thrown overboard by mistake.

I got a voicemail from Chaps today. I am sorry I missed the call. He said that he saw some tuna crashing bait 5 miles off the backside of Catalina. I can't get out this weekend... :banghead: :banghead: I have not read that anyone is catching tuna locally. Thanks Chaps for the first breaking news of the season.

Todd..PM Mojo. He was going out yesterday.

I just sent you a PM.

The water is warm around Avalon bank today...and there are some makos being caught if you are chumming for them at the edge of the warm water. I caught a couple of small Yellowtail last week fishing squid around paddys. I haven't heard of any albacore up here yet. Stop into to Mako Matts new store (same place, just next door.) buy some stuff and he will give you the scoop from this week.

Hey guys, just made it back home to Seattle tonight. Had a great trip, caught some fish and had a few wild rides on the big alloy cat surfing the swells down the calif coast. Got to hit the rack, will fill in the details tomorrow . . .
