Memorial Day Linesiders

#1

Post by Tin Cup »

Had to put some time in to finally boat the first keepa's of the season. Sunday night did an an overnight trip in Narragansett Bay, found some nice fish willing to take our eels. Caught these just before the tide went slack. Great fun good eating, fed our guests yesterday afternoon.

Tin Cup, Nice to see you and the little guy . Nice fish pics! Lately we have been slaying them in the bay on umbrella rigs.Mostly early morning.Talked to Marty's kid the other day and he wants to come up this summer, looks like August would be good. Maybe we can hook him into a BFT. I think Marty's fishing partner will be coming up with him. Maybe a meet and greet like we talked about. Mike

Clambo,

Thanks, August sounds good. We have mostly been lining pogies in the AM, I agree the action shuts down early. I have only fished the upper bay so far, Prudence and North into Providence. I hear the South is really heating up.

See you out there.

Nice Nice Nice!!!!

I like that "look" ya have going.....and it's Memorial Day???

Here's on of myself in January looking just like you, when my boat was still "shiney" and my BlackLab Marine Hat was still nice blue and new.

Either way, I'd like to be catchin some Stripa's rather that sheepshead myself.

I love the cool weather, it was 90 degrees and humid as all hell on Memorial day after 5 days of severe storms and 20" inches of rain.

Talk about MUGGY..... :-|
