Grant, what did you get out of the Honda 250 or do we have to wait for break in?

W, hopefully not a "hole spewing water".....
. Been there done that.
Hope they're doing a way better paint job on those 250's than on the 225's.
Mine looks like its 20 years old, and its 6 and change.

Welder, you could tell this boat really has some power behind it. The Honda 250hp sure is impressive.
Also to answer Jerrywolf's question, yes Honda has a new paint process on their motors. The color has changed just slightly. It would be hard to notice unless you had the motors side by side in the correct light.

Here is another pictures of the 24' SS Offshore. It is almost done. This boat will be shown at the Portland boat show and possibly the Puyallup Sportsmans show if you are in the area and would like to see it.

Here is a picture from above the rigging area showing a 20' Sport offshore Pilot. The boats in the backgroud are a 23' SS Drifter inboard jet boat with a 6.2 liter supercharged, aluminum block V8 w/ Hamilton 212 jet and the other is a very custom Sport offshore with cabin. Let me know if anyone wants to see more pictures of either of these.

DMan, the 23' SS Drifter is a jet boat that is heading to Idaho. This boat with an inboard jet has a deadrise of 12 degree at the transom and 18 degree at the bow.
Its gonna be a kick to drive!!

Here are a few Pilothouse's we are currently working on.
The one in the foreground is a 29' heading to Alaska. The one accross the aisle is a 29' heading to Oregon and the one to the right is a local 26' version. Glen
This is a 30'er in the paint booth also going to Alaska...
Here is another view of the 26'....

The 24' is awesome. Looks to have a stand up-head. A must for the next boat. Does it have self bailing decks? I see the full extended transom. Good looking boat!

Yes, this 24' Pilot has a stand-up head. This boat is being custom built for a customer in California. He didn't want a 26', but wanted a head, so we stretched the 23' to a 24'. He also wanted self bailing. In order to make this shorter boat self bailing (It's harder to make a smaller boat self bailing.), we added the pod under the twin motors and raised the floor a little more than the floors in a 26'. So is the pod included in the 24'LOA or is added. I ask as my 185 is 18'6" and with the motor extension my hull is actually 20'...makes for better performance and sits better at rest! Just curious!

The boat is aprox. 24', plus aprox. 2' for the bracket. O.A.L. is aprox. 26'. Here are a couple more photos of progress. Glen

That ladder is a slick setup!
My next boat is going to have a pod and a dive door, not sure if I'll be getting back into diving but I did have the pleasure of swimming to my boat this summer (not intentional
) and realized the benefit of being able to easily re-board from the water. Hint, I wasn't encumbered with wet clothing
