Just "GEE-WIZZ" info here. But I was watching the newest Pacific boat video on youtube, and saw one of your boats in the background.

So ya'll are that close to eachother huh?
Ya'll ever swap stuff? In the Pacific "how we do it" video, they say they pour their own castings, like cleats and such. Do you do the same?

I'd love to spend the day just walking that complex. So many boats being built, so much going on. Must be like a Candy store for the alloy boat owner/enthusiest. I'd be like a woman (some women, like my ex-wife) at shoe stores in a mall.

I'd like to tour each facility and see how it all comes together.

Just as I'd like to tour Rod Building companies. Two things that facinate me. Welded Aluminum Boat building and fishing rods manufacturing.

I'm waiting for the boat owner government bail out JW  and I'l be on the phone with CWB

I can see it now....3 guys jigging cod on the aft deck in 48 degree weather, the cabin heater blasting, coffee on, and bacon and eggs cooking in the galley

It just wouldn't be the same

Just an FYI I caught on TV, Alloy.

Mott's Apple sauce, 300 union labor employees no longer working for Motts.
CEO of Motts, prior to the massive lay off......only 4.5 MILLION a year income.
After lay offs...same CEO now makes 6.5 MILLION a year.

NO ONE IS SAFE. I learned long time ago by watching others I knew, the higher up on the ladder the further the fall.
So it's good to be just one step above the bottom sometimes.

Boat owners will be a dieing breed here soon.

So I hope Honda Marine, CWB, Pacific etc. do well by their help, and especially the customer base.

I HAVE TOO EVERY SINGLE DAY. Or I'm over and out in a NY minute.

But I saw the giant rolls of aluminum on the youtube video of "how we make 'em" made by and posted on youtube via Pacific boats. Which leads people to believe they are cutting their own??
Say it isn't so...was I dupped??
The casting of thier own cleats etc. too, with a full blown foundry?
Huh??
Don't tell me, it was all just "PR".

Yes Jetty, we are very close. Technically speaking there is about 8" separating us. There has been tremendous benefits with our relationship with Pacific that dates back to the early 80's. You are welcome to visit anytime.
