Amazing home built boat...

#1

Post by S L Dave »

I saw this boat down at the marina last weekend. I asked the guy who built it...and his wife told me proudly that her husband built it himself with "his own two hands". He was working fast to get on the water and didn't really want to talk. (I respect people's interest in solitude and privacy, do I didn't press with any questions.)
I hope I run into him again and can get some info. The welds looked pretty good too. Not Pacific good, but pretty good!

A plastic boat caught fire in the harbor that day and you can see the smoke in the background.

Yep. Was trying to get the owners friend to post up here. They are or were currently going to make a run to Cedros Island I hope they looked at the weather report............. 25 to 30 knot winds building 10-14 foot waves.
