Build in process pictures, please.
If the builder doesn't remove the mill scale now might be the time to put in that request.

Re: Trim Tabs or pods or neither.

I had a 26' cuddy cabin without trim tabs and relocating a 110 quart cooler from port side deck just behind the cuddy bulked to centerline just in front of the cuddy bulked made a noticeable difference in ride and time to plane.

All's good, I get froggy when people trash the trades.

You may have emotion tied up in your post, I find it hard to read it as a rant.
More of an encouragement than complaint.

Re: PROJEKT BOATWORKS

I have to assume the foam will not bond forever or anywhere near the hulls life expectancy.

Nice thing about paint is it can be refinished, we know it won't outlast the hull life expectancy.

PROJEKT BOATWORKS

looks amazing, see link below. I question the spray in sound deadening foam longevity.

What have you seen made or have made out of Kegs?

Scored a couple of these stainless kegs and looking for ideas.
Fire pits, grills, cookers, furniture. . . .

One of the better cleaning jobs I have seen.
How much looks like that?
Cut out, replace sheet metal honey comb with new metal.

Re: Cover Snaps for Aluminum Hulls

Had a cover for my old ski boat. No snaps, twist locks or any other fasteners.
The cover would lay over the boat with a pole near the center and had a cinch line like a hoody that pulled tight below the rub rail.
Worked great setting still through a few hurricanes. Never tried trailering with it on.

Foam removal tool tip I have used with some success. Chuck the long end of a 1/4" Allen key in a hand drill. Plunge the spinning short end into the foam. Proceed with caution.
