LAYERS OF PANCAKES

Kmorin, Those welds look nicely done, perfect penetration from what I see. What is your experience in aluminum welding, are you a boat builder, fabricator or what??? I know its not approved but I like the drain plug in a tank to get it dry of water should you get a bad batch of fuel, I like the stai...

BIG REEL!

Peterbo, During my 25-years of surf fishing I always looked at those surf reels but could never find one in the states to put in my hands and feel. S I never got to try one. I think the way the aussies have the reel lower on the surf rod always confused me on how they would be to cast and I was real...

Ed Bauer Colors!

Very Cool little skiff sled for the wife! I like the enclosed engine pocket. When I was a kid and just moved from the middle of the country to the NY shoreline. THere as a fishing rowboat with that kind of setup I always liked and would draw pictures of. In my pictures the back two compartments were...

M1911,

Great question, the ablative style bottom paint would require the owner to at least scrub the tubes down weekly since it would never get worn away while running or sitting...on trailered boats, no worries, but moured, that a real issue. mty

RE-TUFFGEL

I also think that every two to three seasons you should remove each screw and re-tuffgel them. This seams to be a necessary evil to keep the protection of isolation current... (ooppss! I mean non-current flowing). Marty
