Re: Puget Sounders
Neah Bay is always a blast. I was out there freediving last month for the lingcod opener. We loaded up on rockfish, lings, scallops, and limpets. That area is never a bust because there are always plenty of Black rockfish around to keep you busy.

2004 30' ACB DVR $300k
I just came across this ACB DVR on boats.com. It's a 2004 with just over 800 hours. I always thought the DVR model was kind of goofy looking but they are starting to grow on me. I love center consoles but the weather up here is a bit too wet and cold, so maybe this is the solution. http://www.boats....

Re: 25 foot aerohead
LOL, I didn't want this deal to get posted! I have been in touch with the owner and told him I will buy it the day my boat sells, if it is still available. He has it set up as a commuter with 6 suspension seats, so it would be really easy to modify to your needs. He is a multiple boat owner and just...

Re: Just ordered a new boat need input on motors
Like everyone said, service is going to be the main issue. I'm a Suzuki man and their fly by wire is awesome. I guess you can get that on the F250s now too. I'd be willing to bet that the Suzuki 300s and the Yamaha F250 will use almost the same amount of fuel. Ask the guys at Armstrong if they have ...

Better Looking ACB
A few months ago I was talking about the new and improved, 2009 ACB Extreme Pro that I saw at the Seattle Boat Show. They just sent out a few pictures of the boat and it is definitely much better looking that their earlier boats. http://imagehost.vendio.com/preview/ic/icanauctionit/IMG_4848.jpg http...

Re: New Boat?
I'll work on getting some more pictures up. It still hasn't been in the water. Right now we are waiting for Volvo to come out and program the computers. It should max out around 40. The Aerohead charter boat in Illwaco has a D6-370 and gets about 34mph at WOT.

Re: New Boat?
I wouldn't offer a dime for a Raider if I had intentions of taking it offshore. For the Puget Sound and lakes, it is an affordable boat with a really nice layout. I bought my Raider before the days of AAB.com. I owned a few boats and knew enough about aluminum to know that "aluminum boats"...

Re: New Boat?
The Howard looks good and the price is right. If you get serious about it, I bet you could get a couple of us local guys to take a trip up there to give it a closer look. That Raider has been sale for a while. I bought just about the same boat brand new, but it was a 26 footer with a custom self bai...

Re: 2008 28' Motion Marine $250k
I'm definitely not a fan of the boat. If they lost the diamond plate, took off an engine, and maybe used some drawing tools other than a ruler during the design process, it would be a bit more appealing. I've talked to people that have had work done at MM and they've all been happy with the service ...

2008 28' Motion Marine $250k
I came across this interesting boat the other day. It's a 2008 Motion Marine, 28' offshore, with 30 hours and 900HP.

Re: ACB sale:
I have never really liked the look of ACBS. However at this years Seattle Boat Show, they had one with a slightly different sheerline and it has really grown on me since. I didn't get a picture but I will see if i can snap one next time I see the boat. It was much better looking than this beauty: ht...

If you go with Cabelas, make sure you track down one or two of the $25 off coupons first.

I don't know much about Textron but I would rather own one of their boats than their stock. It was at $65 a few months ago now its worth about $5 bucks.

Re: Straight Piped the 5.9
I have a 2007 Ram 3500 crewcab, with the 6.7 liter. It tows and drives great and I love the exhaust brake. I usually get 17 on the hwy but managed 18 on one trip. That number is according to the computer since I'm too lazy pencil it out.

Alloy Caught On Google Streetview
I was checking out the new satellite image for my area on Google Earth and was surprised to see my boat in the driveway. I zoomed in a bit further and noticed that it is also on their new Streetview feature. The satellite image must have been taken within a day or two of the Streetview, since I can'...

Ever used Weld Mount?
Has anyone used this product? It looks interesting if it works half as good as they claim it does. Runs about $100 for the gun, adhesive, mixing tip, and a couple of parts for attaching things to your boat. Re: Seattle Boat Show Pictures?
I think they can cover any of their seats with the Ballistic Nylon as an upgrade. The patriot seat in Nylon was around $700 but I picked up one that was an in-stock left over, for a little less. They can also add a dual zone heater for only $150 to most of their seats. That seems like a steal for us...

Re: Seattle Boat Show Pictures?
I made it back to the show and the Moose was a work of art! I probably would have went with STIDD seats on a boat of that caliber but the ballistic nylon fabric on the Bentleys Mariner seats was very nice and the matching fabric on the walls was awesome. Consequently I went over to the Bentleys boot...
