I'm shipping it, because this is our busy time year for work :mad: . We have a slip in Seward and it will be there from spring to fall and Whittier for hunting season. What is the break in time on these outboards? I know our D-4's got stronger as we put on more hours on them. Is there any particular way to break these in? thanks.

New Motors for the Cat
Thanks for all of the input on motors, and have decided on the twin 300 Suzuki. I will be able to post a link on here for progress on the build for those of you who are interested. Can't wait for June 1st.

yes those were an option too, but are 200lbs. per motor heavier and a lot more $$$$$$. the 300 zukes are only 9 lbs. heavier then the 250 yamaha. the boat I sea trailed had 300 on it and it performed really well, but wasn't full of fuel and only had 3 people in it. Just ordered a new boat need input on motors
We just purchased a new 30'x11' Armstrong cat and was wondering what people thought of the motor options I have to choose from. Either twin 300 Suzuki or twin Yamaha 250's. There is a little price difference between the two, but nothing major compared to the cost of the boat. This is our first Alumi...
