What is the break in time on these outboards? I know our D-4's got stronger as we put on more hours on them. Is there any particular way to break these in? thanks.

Thanks for all of the input on motors, and have decided on the twin 300 Suzuki. I will be able to post a link on here for progress on the build for those of you who are interested. Can't wait for June 1st.

yes those were an option too, but are 200lbs. per motor heavier and a lot more $$$$$$. the 300 zukes are only 9 lbs. heavier then the 250 yamaha. the boat I sea trailed had 300 on it and it performed really well, but wasn't full of fuel and only had 3 people in it.
