Hundreds of Thousands of Liberal Degrees, $100k loan debt, and no prospects. Guy or gal who enjoys working outside with a MM Degree, CG Cert, etc., making bank. The Education emphasis is on the wrong syllable is all.

Your are pulling the trigger, what must your boat have?

The collective sharing their recommendations would be appreciated. I seek to have commissioned an heirloom to pass down to my Grandsons. Not unlike any other, I seek the biggest bang for the buck, so it is to you, those vastly more knowledgeable and possessing the hands on gnosis of what works and w...

Welcome!

Riveted hulls for light duty, welded for other uses. Riveted is cheap and will serve well where it is meant to be used, I fished out of several for most of my life since I live inland.

The experts will hopefully jump in and provide much better guidance.

Not gotten that far yet Dave but he is drawing up an 18' with the stern extensions for me to look at. He builds everything from Shrimp Boats to Mullet Boats as well. That demo of the guy walking from Bow to Stern without any noticeable effect on the boat was impressive as is the built in bait tray/r...

Spoke with Richie Ladnier, builder & designer for Endurance Boats about the Shallow Water Series and am awaiting additional details to be emailed. The one in the video is a 22' x 102" and with the rear wing decks a shade over 24' total. Built for a guide in Louisiana, plate hull, >11" ...

Rain again, we're in the red area: NOAA

Four more inches in the last 10 hours....the couple of squash still fighting for life are doomed. Not a single fruit from anything I planted in the soil this season but they all grew like gangbusters. Looked real pretty too, just no FOOD from it. :banghead:

goatram, didn't you know that fire ants are not killed by rain or flooding? When their nest is flooded, they simply join hands in a giant mass and float to new ground. It is quite a sight and one that you do not want to come into contact with since they are already highly irritated. :gunner2:

JW, ain't that the truth. Our relatives in JAX have enjoyed some minor water intrusions into their home from all that bounty. While here in the State famous for its red clay, red is the color of the water is such that one would be tempted to walk across streams and rivers. Check out this link, expla...

We are already over 16"+ in rainfall for the Year here. The Flint River is on the verge of claiming all the homes on the next Street over and the storm sewers are all backed up in the area, really lovely smell too.

I recall you getting that backup engine for a good price, so this means a serious mechanical with the original I guess. Does rate a few choice Adult words in any case.

MacCTD, one could fish the bow if the swell isn't severe though I might like a higher rail or even the option of using a bike seat.

Nice conjuring job chaps. John Deere got rich off just like that....how do you like the Porta bracket? Even though they are made in Dave's State, they haven't gotten the love from the market like several others I read about as they are more expensive than them. And a general question: Is redneck now...
