Pete,
I've heard that some certain 7 year old has quite the knack for catching halibut.
My money is also on him unless Mojo get's his monster Lingcod that he's been dreaming about
We'll just sit back a let him do his thing

Re: Washington Tuna!!
Nice!
Everybody is praying that the Albacore make a showing this year down here
Bluefin, some Yellowfin Tuna and a good amount of Yellowtail Jacks around but no Albies.
Hope your son doesn't get away from fishing the FW, because it's all good!

Re: Essential Tackle For Alaska
Good info Pete.
Tell me more about the rubber lures that work good
I always hear about the magnum sizes working better up there.
How much weight(lure wise) is normally used for what we will be going after?
PL68- weighs 9.5ozs.

Re: Local WSB and Barracuda
How long did they hang around up there last year? Most of them were caught late Auguest-October. Most of the fishing here is drifting squid as the fish follow the squid into the bay as they spawn. It's just an amazing catch, especially when you can keep 3 of those big fish each day! Dang, a couple ...
