Going to take the Wellcraft on a sea trial in the morning… I’m sure she’s going bye bye… Sad to see her go but got to do it if I want to fish more… I just hate to buy used and deal with all the shenanigans… I called Kenny today ...

The owners and Mods of BD’S are all good people… I know both of the owners and some of the Mod’s.. Both of the owners love Alloy rigs (I’ve personally talked Alloy with them)… I can’t speak for the others… All I know is, “I WANT ONE!!!” I bought CA, Lotto today

Re: The 23 Bayrunner baja pilot house.
I've been keeping up on this topic, and I've got to say I really like the looks of this boat. The pilot house looks super functional, and it looks tough if nothing else. Plate shmate that's what I say, It's welded aluminum right? Not everyone can afford a brand new Pacific or any of the other high ...

One thing for sure you guys turned me into an Alloy freak  …. Believe me!!! If I could I would go Pacific skiff in a heart beat.. And who knows maybe when I’m ready to buy, I‘ll find a used one that’ll fit my budget…. Jettywolf I see these rigs (Bayrunners) 30 40 miles of shore all the tim...

Re: The 23 Bayrunner baja pilot house.
Thanks for the lengthy respond Marlin.. Well if and when the WellCraft sells, I will be getting the pilot house model for sure… The first thing I am going to do is take the deck apart… I’m thinking of welded diamond plates and sealed/screwed to the wood deck… Also some how making the deck self baili...

Thanks dude.... Word on the street is that they are going out of business hope it’s not true… …S L Dave wrote:Good luck with the sale and (hopefully) the Bayrunner.
The Boat House of Anaheim is a Wellcraft dealer and Tim is a great guy. They sell used and consignment boats. Might be worth an email.

Re: The 23 Bayrunner baja pilot house.
“65 mile an hour winds and 12 foot seas” WOW!!!!! Unheard of here in San Diego, not saying it can’t or won’t ever happen... If I could, believe me I would go plate alloy also, unfortunately I can’t and won’t buy another $60,000 rig...
