Re: Opinions on diesel trucks

I guess that depends on your budget. If you are looking for used, there are a ton of trucks out there. I am a GMC guy myself. Mine is a 2001 2500HD SLT Duramax with overload springs and set up for a goose neck. She has about 200k and is still running like a top. I personally went with the GMC becaus...

Re: Seattle Boat show Meet and Greet

Anne and I have reservations for Thursday and Friday at the Silver Cloud just down the street from the stadium. If Pyramid is OK with everyone else, it's fine with us! We love that place! Besides, my birthday is the 27th; hopefully I can punch out of work early on Thursday!

Very cool video! The clarity of the video was outstanding! What type of video camera do you guys use. Not a bad choice of tunes, either. He ordered a Canon VIXIA HF M30 with a Canon WP-V2 Underwater Video Housing and had it shipped over here in August. There are no external lights yet. In order to ...

Christmas Wahoo!

OK, the almost Christmas wahoo. Buddy of mine and I went diving the week before Christmas, and had a fantastic time. We were able to scrounge up this tiny little fish, and had a pretty decent dinner. Still miss the traditional turkey, though...

This sight http://search.defender.com/?expression=plb&x=6&y=4 sells the AquaLink™ 406 MHz GPS PLB-350B for what I thought was alot of bang for the buck when it came to features. I keep it on the ditching bag and instruct all passengers to make sure its lanyard is around someones arm if ditc...

Thanks John!
I can suture a wound, remove an appendix, reduce a fracture, rebuild a Harley, and teach someone how to SCUBA dive. But electricity is a big mystery. Took me two days to wire a light switch in my attic.

Re: De-winterzing a KAD44P/EDC

Mine is stock right now. I did have the Banks Six Gun Tuner hooked up for awhile. Mine is bone stock, too. So far she has pulled everything I have hooked her to like a dream. Not sure if I want to plug up a tuner or not. Still undecided. Patience is plugged in right now. Did you have to add a diffe...

Re: De-winterzing a KAD44P/EDC

Hey Pete- Yeah, I dropped a post over there, but wasn't sure how long it would take to get a response. The ones I did get as you can see were varied. I love my Duramax too. Had her for 10 years, and just turned 190k. Love the sounds of that thing as she winds up, turbo singing in the background. Is ...

De-winterzing a KAD44P/EDC

Received all the service records from the shop that did the mechanical survey and inspection. They performed a 200 hour service, and winterized the engine. The owners manual PDF I downloaded from Volvo is very specific on how to winterize it, but not real clear on how to "de-winterize" the...

Would you be able to blast off the anti-foul as well? Or is it better to leave it, and re-coat it?

Hi Folks, I was speaking with a boat designer today and he told me that a 32' outboard boat would take approx. 1500 hours to build in an experienced shop... What do you think? Also what percentage of build cost is Raw materials, Labor, Purchased (off the shelf) materials? Thanks Rick Rick, PM reels...
