Re: Albacore Tuna tackle
I have been using Shimano TLD's and Toriums for the Albies. Haven't had a bit of trouble with either one of the setups. I use the Torium for trolling and the TLD's for live bait. As for line, I use the Jerry Brown hollow core and then put a knotless loop in it and top it off with a wind-on leader.

I'll see you on the water then. Have you programmed any of the MMSI numbers in your radio? I just got yours and some others in and want to try it out.

Re: Self Bailing Deck
Well, I am mostly done except for the paint. It will have to wait until later because it's FISHING TIME. I have a business trip tomorrow until Thursday, then fishing in the Anacortes Salmon Derby on Saturday and Sunday. One last think left is to finish cutting out the old fish box. I'm going to have...

Re: Sliding Door
Looks good Dale. Got pictures of the internals? Slides and track? You cut your old door down? I'll get some pictures later. I had to cut 5 inches off the old door and weld in some panels to cover up where the old hardware was. I used 2x2 channel for the 3 sides. Then welded on a 1.5x1.5 angle aroun...

Okay, I finished converting my swinging door to a sliding door.
All that's left is to mount it.- Thu Mar 10, 2011 3:26 pm

Trailer ladder
Anyone have pictures of their trailer ladders they would like to post? I would love to see some ideas. When I am out alone, I need a better method of climbing off the bow, down to the trailer.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Hmm, I don't usually stop when heading out for fishing to take pictures. This is the closest I have. This was getting ready for the first saltwater dunk.

I have a 22ft Hewescraft and mounted the TM260 on it last year. It works awesome. When all is quiet on the water, you can hear it pinging.

Sliding Door
I have a nice hinged door. The hinge can be removed and I would be left with a nice door. I have been mulling over how to make it into a sliding door. Any thoughts on what to use for a frame? I have been looking for "h" extrusion, but can't really find what I was wanting. I really can't ju...

Re: Self Bailing Deck
PM CWB there is a shop they use right across the street in Marysville. They bent my Hull Extension. I think It looks good. Did you raise the Floor about six inches? How is the hatch cover trough draining? I already stuck a block of wood in the boat for a look See. I would also be able to add the af...

Re: Self Bailing Deck
John, I used .190 plate for the deck. The structure below is 1x2 channel ( the type with the inside corners radius). From what I figured, it's a little lighter than the wood. I probably went a little overboard on the supports. Do you know anyone that can bend the .16 material? I need to have a floor...

Re: Self Bailing Deck
Jon, I have done all the work so far. I am going to hire someone to do the final welding that shows. I already have rails on the boat, so with those I will have 30" from the top of the rail to the new deck.
