The hull is actually welded. Welded in 1960 mind you. So I'll be going through and adding some strength in key places that wasn't needed at the boats intended cruise speed. I've just started a new project. A 1960 Marinette family cruiser. 28ftx9. Wanting to go inboard diesel and surface drive. Wondering if anybody has any experience in stretching these hulls a few feet.
