Re: Craigslist 23 Pacific
It was sold out of Manchester NH last year. I called to go take a look at it & was told it was sold. It was sold for $10K less last year.

Re: Bought a 23 Pacific
There is a spray in bed liner called Raptor Liner. Our local Sanel Auto Parts store stocks it. Even comes with the spray gun. Sprinkle a little "Black Beauty" sand blasting media on it when it is wet for some traction. I think it is around $200 for the whole kit.

Re: Plastic Bunk Boards??
I noticed the plastic decking sags more than the wood. I personally would double up on the plastic boards, bolt them together ect. I converted my trailer to rollers, on some ramps that are steep the boat rolls back off unless you keep the outboard throttled up or have someone to hook the bow eye for...

Re: Bought a 23 Pacific
I guess I am kind of curious on how corrosion gets this bad? I thought 5086 alloy was one of the the ultimate boat building materials? Or is this simply a boat that was not well taken care of?? Makes me nervous about buying one.

Re: Table top slabs of wood
It is funny you found a video on this. I made 3 tables out of 4-6 inch thick material in shop class back in the day. Still have 2 of them in my house, 1 I gave away as a gift. Big, heavy & VERY strong. Come to think of it the tables are about 20 years old & still going strong. My teacher was...

At least he gets to use his boat year round And it beats walking across the ice. Probably even floats if it falls through.

Ebay & Amazon have a ton of led lights at good prices. I called my local auto parts store & they wanted 2-4 times the money.

Add $7,000 for shipping. $3,000 in fuel if us "Eastcoasters" drive there to pick it up. Hotels, food, what ever else you may need for the 2 week trip.
