Re: Flooding in Louisana
Thanks yall! Yes we kept the electricity and steam flowing. It was interesting at times, but we stayed on. Lots of folks lost power due to trees falling, substations getting flooded and such. (T&D folks fix those) And yes it is a 24/7/365 plant. Our main customer is the Exxon/Mobil refinery and ...

Re: Flooding in Louisana
Yes it is a HELL of a mess! We got just a few inches in our house. But of course that means all flooring was ruined. Just enough to make us cut the wall board/paneling and such to dry out the walls. We have a LOT to do in order to get the house back up to snuff. But we were blessed as there are a wh...

Jetty that kind of stuff really gets under my skin. Jackwagons not respecting the places they fish. They want to come reap the bounty we have, but not respect it.

Hope John gets well soon.
But as we get more experienced in life (Old goats ) It takes a lot longer to heal. (And we don't bounce as good or as high as we used to)

I know quite a bit about the Gravois boats. (Metal Shark now) Have seen them locally for seems like forever. Jimmy Gravois boats are like gold down here. His boats ooze/scream "Craftsmanship" everywhere you look in his boats. Also know folks that have had them FOREVER too. (And not babied ...

Everything is wet here. But not flooding.
Talked to Lester a couple days ago. Lake Texoma is flowing over the flood-way for only the fourth time in history of the lake.

Hey Don [AKA Lucky Louie] you remember this day and playing with Jimmy G. I can't wait to go back and see the other shop too. Class act all the way with MetalShark. Yes I do! Saw some of them from plate stacked up through the stages to final rigging. Saw them inside, out, right side up, ...

Re: Gravois reborn as a series of Metal Shark
I have seen Gravois boats down here for DECADES! Saw one of the new Bay Boats at a boat show in Gonzales, LA last year up close and personal. (Started a thread with lots of pictures of it in the thread) You could see the quality and craftsmanship everywhere in that boat. (As I've seen in all of the ...
